About Spring Meadow 

Established in 1981 by Dale and Liz Deppe, Spring Meadow Nursery, Inc. has become the market leader in flowering shrub potted liners / starter plants.  We grow and sell 2¼",  4" and big Quick Turn potted liners. We sell Wholesale only. The Flowering Shrub specialist. We know our flowering shrubs and we're known for flowering shrubs. We don't grow perennials, shade trees, annuals etc. We specialize in shrubs! 

The Propagation Specialist.  We produce potted liners from rooted cuttings and nothing else. Our First Choice Liners^® are designed to make growers money. The plants are primed to grow and finish fast. We've repeatedly trimmed our liners to have a full, low branching habit. Start with quality liners to finish a quality plant. We ship  only actively growing plants, so you don't suffer the losses you can incur with dormant bare-root liners or rooted cuttings.

State of the art propagation facilities include over 20 acres of greenhouses. High pressure fog systems, traveling booms, bottom heat floors and computerized controls create the optimum propagation environment. Over 30 acres dedicated to stock plants. We have Eight acres of Cravo® retractable roof greenhouses and three acres of Westbrook open roof greenhouses, two of which are flood floor irrigated. We've made the investment so you don't have to. Let us be your propagation department.

The New plant source! We recognize the need for new products and we're serious about getting our customers the best new varieties. We travel the world in search of new plants - so all you have to do is call us. If you are a shrub breeder or develop new shrubs take a moment and learn about our new, award winning plant introduction program.  

We're committed to the Green Industry!   We support horticulture research by actively participating in HRI  (the Horticulture Research Institute). 

We are active members of IPPS (the International Plant Propagators Society), ANLA (the American Nursery and Landscape Association), the Royal Horticulture Society of Great Britain, The Royal Horticulture Society of Boskoop, The Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association, the Friends of the National Arboretum and more.  

We service North America!   We ship to the 48 states and Canada (As a rule, We ship either FedEx, common carrier, or UPS.  Plant trays are packed in our custom designed waxed boxes. Boxes are palletized and stretch wrapped for common carrier and FedEx.

We ship only actively growing plants, from mid-April to October. Every plant you get from us is alive and ready to grow.
