Very nice, large single, soft blushing pink flowers with a prominent red eye. Strong growing and long blooming. Hybridized by Rien Verweij of the Netherlands. 

It received the Royal Boskoop Horticulture Society Award of Recommendation

Hardiness:  USDA Zone 5

Bloom Time:  Mid-summer

Bloom Color: Large, single, soft pink with a red eye.

Foliage Color:  Green

Size:  8-12 feet tall, 3-5 feet wide

Exposure:  Full sun

Soil: Grows in about any soil unless it is either really wet or dry.

Pruning: In late fall or early spring. Can be heavily pruned.

Watering: Medium moisture

Wildlife: None

Type: Deciduous

Fertilizing: Fertilize in early spring by applying a slow release fertilizer specialized for trees & shrubs. Follow the label for recommended rate of application. 

Uses: Late season color, groupings or masses, perennial or shrub borders, specimen, screens or hedges.

A tremendous improvement in hardy Hibiscus.  Strong growing plants with lots of large, brightly colored blooms, the SATIN^® hibiscus are clearly superior to older, weaker varieties. Much more vigorous than older varieties.

BLUSH SATIN^® is a very showy variety with large, soft pink flowers accented with a deep red eye.
