‘Amagi-Amacha’
(serrata)An elegant plant with narrow, bamboo-like leaves and flat, white
lace-cap blooms. Individual sepals are uniquely elongated. We like this plant
for the foliage as much as for its flowers. Limited supply.

‘Chishima’ (serrata)
Often
mistakenly sold as ‘Shashiva’ this a beauty regardless of the name. Flat
lace-cap blooms encircled with large, light pink, round sterile flowers. The
inner fertile blooms are relatively large and a deeper pink to create a
wonderful contrast. Very fine! Limited supply.

‘Claudie’
(H. Macrophylla ppaf, Canadian BRAF)
A remarkable woman deserves a remarkable (and beautiful) plant. Hydrangea
'Claude' pays tribute to French astronaut Claudie Andre-Deshays. Like ‘stars in
the night’, rich blue, starry florets with unique with well separated sepals
orbit numerous, large, deep blue fertile flowers. Developed and named by the
world famous French hydrangea expert Corinne Mallet. The propagation of, and or
the sale of plant parts is prohibited without a license. Patent / Trademark tag
required.

'Izu No Hana'
(macrophylla)
Translates to “Flowers of the Izu peninsula,”
but to me, it translates into an explosion of fireworks. The unique
lace-cap flowers are comprised of a mass of showy, large, pink flowers, with
even larger, pink, doubled sterile florets shooting out in various directions.
Each floret contains 14 to 16 sepals compared to the customary 4. Dark glossy
leaves. A remarkable plant. Available June. Limited Supply

'Jogasaki'
(macrophylla)
Named after a town in the Izu peninsula of Japan, Jojasaki is yet another
lace-cap with double florets. The silvery-pink florets contain 8 to 11 rounded
sepals, and appear as miniature pink water lilies floating a top a pond.

'Kiyosumi'
(serrata)
A fine featured plant that resembles Coleus with its attractive deep red flushes
of new growth. Delicate lacy flowers. Pure white sepals, often developing a red

‘Komachi’
This is the same plant that has been misnamed ‘Pretty Maiden. Stunning,
irregular mop-head blooms with elongated, pink doubled flowers. Flower color
ranges from clear blue to soft pink depending upon pH. The plant is a compact

'Midoriboshi-Temari'
(serrata)
An elegant plant in stature and in flower. A Prolific bloomer with unique lacy
pink blooms. The outer ring of doubled florets dance on long pedicles like

'Miranda'
(H.
serrata) A robust, showy plant with big, dome shaped lace-cap blooms of
clear pink or clear blue (depending upon pH).
The large cluster of fertile flowers is bright and just as attractive as
the larger, outer florets.

'Miyama-yae-Muraski'
(H.
serrata) A spectacular and majestic plant discovered by Mr. Takeshi Seto
in Miyama, Kyoto Japan in 1950. It took fifty years for us to get it, but well
worth the wait. The sterile florets are very double with egg-shaped sepals
ranging in color between violet and pink. The foliage is a very bright green.

‘Mousmee’
(H.
macrophylla) A Japanese selection meaning girl, and what a beautiful girl
she is! Big, purplish-pink lace-cap blooms accentuated with blue fertile flowers
in the center. Quite remarkable.

‘Shamrock’
(H. Macrophylla ppaf, Canadian BRAF) A cool
new Hydrangea in the Japanese tradition with masses of large, doubled, pink
lace-cap flowers. Flowering begins in July and as the season progresses they
transform into breathtaking shades of red and deep pink. On acid soils the
flowers are more violet. Very floriferous and long blooming. More compact and
tends to be more frost resistant than most Japanese types. Developed by the
world famous French hydrangea expert Corinne Mallet. This superb new plant pays
tribute to Association des amis de la Collections D'Hydrangea Shamrock (French
Hydrangea Society) and a portion of the royalties are used to support their
Hydrangea collection near Dieppe in Upper Normandy. The propagation of, and or
the sale of plant parts is prohibited without a license. Patent / Trademark tag
required. Zone 4, 3.5-5 feet, gr 1, full sun - partial shade

‘Shirofuji’
A fantastic Hydrangea serrata that shines in the garden compared to
most other Hydrangea because of it low mounded habit and abundance of flowers.
The name
translates to snow-capped Mt. Fuji, and with good reason. When in bloom the
entire plants covered with delicate, double white, snowflake-like flowers.
